Inclusion and SEND
All Trust schools provide for children with a range of different needs, including those with special educational needs and disabilities both with and without Education Health Care Plans. The Trust is absolutely committed to an ethos of inclusion and all schools are required to put pupils and students with SEND at the very core of everything they do. Schools must meet the statutory responsibilities outlined in the SEND Code of Practice and other related legislation. Each school’s own policy document lays out how it will support inclusive practice, how it will ensure students can achieve the best possible learning outcomes and how they can be supported to engage successfully in all aspects of the life of the wider school community.
