Message from the Chief Executive

Welcome to the Graveney Trust! We are proud to have been asked to set up our Multi-Academy Trust which runs  Graveney School,  Tooting Primary School and Franciscan Primary School and Nursery.

Graveney School has a history of outstanding achievement over very many years, with six outstanding Ofsted inspections to its credit in the last couple of decades. This is a tribute to the commitment, professionalism and loyalty of our staff as well as the energy and hard work of our students. We have learnt much over the years and relish the opportunity to share our knowledge about what makes an outstanding school with other organisations for the benefit of local youngsters and their families. The creation of Tooting Primary School provided us with just this opportunity as had the more recent incorporation of Franciscan Primary School into our Trust.

These have been exciting projects which have had overwhelming support from local parents.  We work closely together as a community of local schools to ensure the best possible educational opportunities are available to parents in the Tooting area.   

We are excited about the possibilities offered to multi-academy trusts in the rapidly changing world of education. In the context of shrinking resources, there is always the opportunity for innovation and cost effective solutions for schools willing to share their leadership capacity and resources as well as the opportunity for professional collaboration that bringing schools together under a single umbrella offers.
